I didn't realize I had generated this kind of response.

No I don't interlink the sites. Of course I have provided partner links to them but that is it.

I finally found my site buried in the rankings. I had gone from #1 for a primary keyword to #205. Had been #1 for weeks. I checked and only the index pages for my other sites are the missing. Perhaps it is Everflux. Can only hope so.

It's the mystery that kills me. I realize that Google is programmed for searches and that is their primary responsibility. However, since dramatic actions can seriously affect those of us providing the content it would be helpful and I think ethical to provide some feedback, however broad, to those with legitimate questions about status. Even an automated system would be fine.

Pie in the sky stuff I know but being in the dark results in a lot of stubbed toes.
