I get the feeling the real index is being built on WW2 and WW3, and all queries to the data centers are being directed elsewhere.

Common sence would say that this new process can't be to much longer then the old one. So one would expect the update to start on the 10th-15th. Don't be to surprised if the results for competitive terms are nothing like what is now being shown on SJ.
