---- PR Discrimination

I was reveiwing my backlinks and ran across a partner with a message regarding the quality of the link you provide in exchange. I won't post the exact message or you could find it at the top of the list on GG, but here's the general message:

Join our link exchange but only if you're site has at least a PR4. Otherwise, please do not contact us.

Holding this philosophy are we starting to see an elitist or wealthy group of high PR sites that refuse to link to PR2/3 because that link could lower their own PR? It's hardly worth the risk.

This type of behavior could create extreme barriers to entry for new guys and possible require GG to rethink the PR algorithm.

This idea reminds me of society's upper class. Want to join our Country Club? What's your PR?
