The reality, is you have realised that a site that can get pr5 or above is basically part of the intenet.

Futhermore, the updates, get boring, not so much that its happened, but once you've got into the swing if there's a major dip then re-engineer the site to evolve into the new algo and off it goes again.

A while ago one of the Senior mods, talked of the limitations of the design of a site and the maximum pr it could obtain regaring the pr from links. Thinking about it, it makes sense now, you could have a site with a pr of 8 though only through link association, with minimal content targeting and structural navigation for both the PR to travel down or across and the searcher to use intuitively, both extremely important considerations.

The trick or the strategy is to design a site that can handle all the pr and maximise the transferrance down to the ROI pages, while keeping the punters happily navigating and buying products.
