Apparently there is no such thing as a stupid question but what am I missing here?

What are you using these tools for? Hunting out link potential is the obvious one with the similar sites. However is it just me or is the backlinks side vertually useless as it seems to incorporate many internal pages and on first glance only shows the top ten links.

Any other uses that I am blatently missing?
