The keyword domain names will take you directly to our main home site if you clicked on them on a SE search. We have been told that by placing links to other sites and keywords in the no frame section we can increase the chances of being well ranked in the way you would with a doorway page without having to visit an physical page and click through to the main site. Does anyone see any major problem with this? I know SE don’t like frames because they can’t read them but given we wouldn’t have anything in the frame this shouldn’t be an issue should it? I am now convinced that doorway pages are not the way forward to increase ranking. We are somewhat limited on placing links to our site so I am searching for options beyond optimisation of the actual site to increase ranking and this is the only one I have been presented with that seems viable. Any comments would be appreciated.
I am looking at establishing a set of keyword domain names, these URLs will have a list of links and keywords in a no frame tag and a framed section. There will be no page affiliated to the domain, which a SE shouldn’t know because we are hoping it would think it is within the frame that it can’t read.
