Maybe her site isn't ranking high locally hence she gets "far and away" traffic as much as local? That could explain why she gets high precentage of google.com
That is a possibility.
However, if I look at her demographics BY SOURCE it looks like this (percentage, country, source):
50%, Canada, Google
19%, Canada, (direct)
4%, United States, (direct)
4%, United States, google
(To see the above data I am going to Demographics -> Location -> Country / Territory and then in the Secondary dimension I select Traffic sources -> source)
Is it possible that google.com or google.ca local results / personalized results listed as (direct) traffic instead of under organic?
Because when she sent me screen shots of how her pages ranked, it was obvious that she was mixed in with other local results.
