Good call. I'd have done the same if the one I wanted wasn't locked up for years and years by a company who is not likely to ever go away.

So the most money I ever paid for a domain (so far) cost me well into four figures, and I waffled around for YEARS before I actually purchased it. I missed hand registering it by about four days, and I was really really pissed when I found out how much the purchaser wanted for it. He never used it, just hung onto it, and eventually I came around to the view that the actual value wasn't necessarily the number he put on it, but how badly I'd feel if someone else bought it and actually developed it. And looking at it that way, I got a bargain.
