...any reason why?
If it is not in the Great Domains auction, which is currently running, it most likely is not even in an auction.
I have plenty of domains for sale at Sedo and when I search the domain name at GoDaddy it says - "Congratulations! example.com is at auction through Go Daddy Auctions®" - when I know for a fact it is not in an auction.
I do not know why GoDaddy says it is in an auction as opposed to saying it is for sale.
I came across a domain on Sedo for sale for $x,xxx. I just happened to type it into Godaddy to see what other extensions are available and I see it is up for auction and the current price is $xxx with no bids.
The $x,xxx. is probably the asking price and the $xxx is the minimum amount accepted for an offer.
