In testament to my age, what you're looking at is Tucows products. Yep, tucows from toronto, you may remember them from the internet of the 1980's. They pioneered the idea of reselling domain registrations and they were very popular way back a decade ago.
In terms of 'competing', I wouldn't worry about it personally. It's not like I'd expect them to roar into the marketplace to compete against you on hosting. Hover has been around a long long time, as has opensrs and if you don't see them competing with you today, don't expect that'll change tomorrow. The only time I've seen them at a retail level was last year when I bought a site from a Canadian and had to move the site away from them. The folks at hover were very accomodating at that time.
