Quick afterthought..if when you look at your domain owner/admin/tech/billing details at Godaddy..you see anything you want to change ( like if you have changed address or company name etc ) don't change it at Godaddy..
If you do you'll automatically "lock" your domain for 60 days to Godaddy..
Wait 'til you have done the transfer to Moniker ( or "whoever" ) to change any "details" ..
Exceptions to that rule are ..if the Contact phone number that is given for "you" is wrong at Godaddy..you can change it there in the "details"..and if the admin email address is wrong ( maybe you changed email addys and notice that the one listed you no longer have access too ..can happen ) ..if wrong you would not be able receive the "transfer authorisation code" ..you can change the email addresses..doing either or both of those things will not "lock" you in for 60 days with Godaddy..
But don't touch the "name" fields..even if they are wrong..wait till you have done the transfer, then change them at the "new registrar", if you need to..
Don't forget to update the nameservers that the domain points ( in the domain control panel at the "new registrar" ) to after you have done the change..
And don't forget to "unlock" the domain at Godaddy before you initiate the transfer..or it will "fail" ( you can reset and retry..but better to make it unlocked before beginning the change over )..hope that helps :)
