Hahaha...so powerful they even have their own legal regime!
This was a technique used in the late 90s and did work for a few years purely using the keyword domain name and on-page text from the original site linking direct to the main site.
This is a against the Google T&Cs, it is not illegal, you can make as many as you like however it is most unlikely that they will rank and provide any extra traffic and some say could possibly harm the main site.
Or are you considering a unique single page with quality information with links to the main site?
This can work but you must be careful of duplication. I know this reads crazy when one considers the quantity of scrapers that Google ranks above the original source however that's the nature of the Gorg!
