---- Multiple Domain names to one website?

I wasn't sure where to ask this question, but here goes...

I have a client that provides different services (renovations, air conditioning, store installations...). Each service has its own page (and sub-pages). I was wondering, if I bought the domain names 'renovations-companyname.com', 'airconditioning-companyname.com' and pointed them to their respective subject pages, would this be a bad practice? Having the service in the url would be good SEO, but would doing it this way be frowned upon by Google?

Thanks!
