Do you get the same creation date if you check the WhoIs on the servers of the initial/original domain regitrar? Sometimes there can be data distribution issues.

Not sure how this will play with Google, as I don't know anyone who can say with certainty the exact amount of "lift" X-years will be granted a ripened domain. "In the old days" an "aged domain" was much more an item of buzz when the common belief was that Google was "sandboxing" new sites/domains. That conversation has evolved to one about "trust" and "authority" and more.
