So, exactly what motivated you to acquire these specific domains? Just random chance? Bad luck/guess that you acquired multiple trademark connected domains?

The "I never knew anything" defense will fail the "sniff test" if you registered/acquired more than 1 trademark related domain.

Laws may make "~putting the stolen goods back" (akin to actively deleting a domain) a factor to be considered in setting/reducing a penalty. However, in most cases you can no more uncommit a crime or violation of law than you can unring a bell.
