These are going to be lost just like .co and other similar .com-wannabes. So the only winners are going to be big fat brands and trending subjects. <==period
While there is just small "brand-ability" in .co, it's ranking the same as .com in Google and better than both .net and .org
If Google decides to give their new TLD (let's say .bull) the same treatment as .com - it will be a domain buying frenzy, mostly from websites relying on traffic from the SE, as opposed to domain name type-in visitors.
