It isn't about "type ins"..it is about Google using these and then favouring in serps the domains which are on them ( like they do now with "their own stuff", above the fold )..so eventually we will all have to be on them....on Google's "land"..they'll be hosting our domains..our content..and letting us run adsense on it like sharecroppers..or serfs..
