If you got the domain blocked what's the odds that the culprit would simply register another "nearly the same" domain?

I suspect that if you pursue the domain, as the solution, the bad actor will simply register another variant.

Either find a lawyer/solicitor to sue the culprit or keep filing your DMCA's.
