well, after many years of parking I am switching to some own "projects". Parked domains do not develop in time because of poor or false content. I also belive that the gugl-algorithm detects filtered domain names to prevent them comming up in SERPs.

In my opinion parking is for domains from former projects which receive high traffic and when s.o. plans a different project with them in future. Also for selling it could be used for being listed in domain-portals.

Instead of parking it let s.o. use it for a while like i did with <a domain I own>.
