This is something that seems weird (at least to me), and was wondering if anyone else had seen it?
I was looking on Godaddy Auctions tonight and saw a domain (example.com) listed BIN (cheap) with PR2 and about 500 backlinks.
So I started digging into the links and they all pointed to the domain with the 'www.', as in www.example.com. But that domain actually resolves to an active working site in my browser!
The version without the 'www.' shows a parked page (parked free, courtesy of Google Apps expired 3/09/11).
I know that technically www. is a subdomain, but can a www. and non-'www.' be different domains with different expiration dates?
I did double-check spelling etc. Same name. whois is domain-proxy.
