ICANN already knows about pitfalls of .X X X .TLD Most of the sites in the industry will likely buy .#*$! and 301 redirect it to .com, which defeats the whole point of new extension, except for easy money for spammers, registrars and domain collectors.
Re-Directing a .#*$! to any .TLD will not make an impact on existing ranking of this .TLD
