Just a word of warning to anyone thinking of transferring .es domain names to GoDaddy.
Their pricing table clearly states that .es domain transfers include one year's registration (go to [godaddy.com...] and click on the "Transfer Pricing" Tab).
Unfortunately, it does not include one year - I was billed for the year's registration a few days after paying for the transfer. The fee for the transfer is purely for the transfer and does NOT include any time.
The page also states: "Keep all the time remaining on your existing registration, plus get a FREE 1-year extension." with a subscript note that says "†.ES and .EU domains not included. .EU transferred domains renew registrations on the anniversary date of the transfer."
Again the meaning of this is not at all clear - are they referring to the time remaining on your existing registration or the free 1 year extension?
It is so confusing that even the support staff at GoDaddy don't know which it refers to - the first answer I received from them actually stated that it was just the added time that was not included and that a year was included "as promised".
