My company holds 3 marks so $1,200 just to stop someone else from registering them. The big question is this... with the .tel domains even be indexed? If so, by what company and will the results only show on mobile search? How will they rank vs the .com etc. I guess I wouldn't care if it was $20, but this feels almost like extortion.
It would be great if we could get some interest in this thread. I received the same info - $400 to register a domain offered to trademark holders first.
