Intersting viewpoint that "Parking does not rely on links".

I didn't claim that domains without links would not perform, however, from experience of dealing with thousands of parked domains, those that have links to them generally out-perform those that don't, in terms of click revenues.

Yes, we still have a lot of domains that receive only type-in traffic but, with the exception of the more generic one-two word domains, referal traffic far out weighs type-in traffic.

I appreciate that there are instances where domains are stumbled upon when looking for a site, which can lead to click revenue, but surely it makes sense that the more referral traffic (in bound links) that exist the greater the chance of increased clicks. No?

There's more chance of catching a bus if a bus passes the stop every 5 minutes than there is if you're waiting for a bus driver to come looking specifically for you.
