registering: unless you fear search engine probing just use one domain register with a good management interface. Use domain privacy or domain proxy if you're concerned about SEs and WhoIs probing, etc.

managing: ditto the above, unless "managing" means something more.

renewing: same as above, simply use their auto-renew function. Never had one fail, so long as you set them correctly to renew. ;)

pointing: how often do you plan to move them? Again, a decent registrar will have a bulk DNS function built into their interface

creating: Not sure what you mean.

I use a registrar with a very good interface, one with good bulk management tools.

I use an Access database to track details.

If you are looking to auto configure server virtuals I'm certain you can get someone to code that in relatively short order, then just load up your content. I had a sysadmin code a program for creating virtuals on an IIS server.

Can't help you on automating loading up content - except to suggest that it sounds like something that would be driven off of a limited number of templates and a database.
