GoDaddy seems to be making a fine living. What they appear to be doing as a strategy is using a special on new domain purchases to get people to get onto their service. They have many add-ons you can buy, and I am sure they are making lots of money from those.

By-the-way, I've purchased a few of those add-ons, and I must say so far all of them are well priced, quality products.

And I have not found godaddies customer service to be rude. Quite the contrary.

I find the user interface works very well and is extremely usable.
