I meant: Within the Web technology industry as a whole, the word "cloaking" only has meaning to SEOs (or people influenced by SEOs).

I know the word has a meaning outside of the Web. :)

I think the attempt to nail it down to a very narrow definition is wrong, let people define their own meaning based on their own experiences and aims.

I think the meanings of words are important. Why should "cloaking" be any different?
