for the past few months i been testing Zen Cart with free 30 day SSL for my Zen Cart, i would ask this in the Zen forum, but a lot of replys there are not helpful.
Well any-how i pruched a five-year SSL from instantSSL becuase they said it would be trusted by 99% of all web browsers, so just checking my site with the SSL installed i get this error:
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to www.***********.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to
this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
www.***********.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided.
(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
If you understand what's going on, you can tell Firefox to start trusting this site's identification.
Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is
tampering with your connection.
Don't add an exception unless you know there's a good reason why this site doesn't use trusted identification.
I'm new to SSL certificates and only have access to cPanel and not WHM, it seems to install right in cpanel with all the boxes file in nothing missing yet i still get the error, i contacted by host who can't find a problem with the certificate yet i still see the above error in Firefox both IE8, IE9 and Google Chrome don't see the ssl error, it seem i'm going around in circles.
