I like to know which setting should be at FTP server and setting to be RCF standards compliant.

If software uses -al, how do we tell FTP server (in code) to show hidden files? How do you transfer this checkbox data to FTP server by FTP commands?

As we know the standard is to use switches such as -a and -al and others.

I have detected some error like putting in a -a switch is killing that connection.
