Apparently, and according to tech support, the backup servers are in the same datacenter!

That's not what they told me when they sold me the service of nightly backups for dedicated servers. They sold it on the merits that as it was in a different location it was a lot safer.

ETA has passed and the latest news is that they don't have a new ETA.
