---- Web could run out of addresses next year, warn web experts.

Apologies in advance for the rant but it is the usual happy-clappy rubbish by fools who don't understand technology. As for the European Commission - a bunch of morons who couldn't find their rear regions with both hands, two mirrors and spotlight. Most of the web is on shared hosting and that means hundreds and often thousands of websites sharing a single IP. The oxygen thieves in the European Commission gave the administration of .eu ccTLD to the Belgian Eurid operation and at how well that turned out. And an internet address (Internet Protocol address) is not the same as a Web address which is ordinarily taken to mean a domain name or URL. The thing I hate more than idiot politicians interfering with technology is the ignorance of "technology journalists" who haven't a clue about technology.

Death of the internet predicted - film at 11.

Regards...jmcc
