Hi Cindy,
I assume you've got Adobe's Acrobat installed.
If so, you should have various plug-ins allowing you to work with QE.
After you've saved your file, Acrobat Distiller will enable conversion. You should also be able to set and save the resolution of the PDF file, rather than as a graphics file.
