What Shakil said if you must take CC then get a signed or imprinted voucher of the card that is what you need to defend a claim.

Hopefully the new program Verified by Visa (VbV) will stop mercants having to worry about chargebacks so much by putting the responsibility on the consumer for the card instead of stiching up the merchant.
