So that's why the USPS was pushing that user survey with emphasis on "Participants need to pick up their mail every day including Saturday".* Timing suggests they had already made the decision and were simply going through the motions.

Oddly enough it is not many weeks since I observed in another forum that "whine" = "a complaint I do not sympathize with" in the same way that "regime" = "a government I do not like".

* I didn't participate. I collect my mail twice a week at best. Possibly because the mailbox isn't at my front door.
