You could just use shopping cart software to power your new look website. There are many to choose from. There is no need to use Dreamweaver these days, unless you really want to.

I need to keep those old URL's because I have some external links pointing to them.

Don't worry about this. Just do a search on redirection. All you need to do is use 301 redirects from the old URLs to the new ones and those external links will find you.
