If you get a few sales (say 5) out of 700 unique visitors, then your conversion ratio isn't abysmal. 1% or less is pretty standard for a site without a huge repeat customer component. Altering your offer, design, etc. might increase your conversion rate slightly but it seems your biggest problem is lack of traffic.
