Hi guys,

What are the cost advantages/disadvantages to finding the perfect email marketing solution?

If I have my own company web server I can then use a self-hosted solution like <snip> and pay a one time fee for the software. I can then send as many emails however I like.

On the other hand, I can sign up with a company like <snip> and pay a monthly/usage fee.

The question is, once I have my email marketing campaigns running, wouldn't the managed solution cost a lot more on the long run?

What are everyone's thoughts on this?
