You will be removed from the MATCH/TMF file at then end of five years, after you were first put on. To be on the safe side and allow for administration of the MATCH/TMF, I would wait 5 1/2 years after you had your merchant account revoked.

The tales of people being on the MATCH/TMF list forever, is an urban legend.

The TMF list can be defeated by entering into informal partnerships with new principals, or becoming a shadow director in the corporation.

Of course you will need to change the practices that got you on the TMF list in the first place, or you will probably have a repeat performance.
