they are charging for bringing eyeballs to your product.... think thats to much?

Yes, I do.

They charge a Final Value Fee for each item that is sold. Aka, a "conversion". I understand this fee, and don't feel that it's too much.

But the per-item, per-month Insertion Fee for the sake of "eyeballs" is rediculous and expensive. A merchant with 1000 SKUs will pay eBay $6000 per year, regardless if any items actually sell.
