This is a bummer not only for sellers, but for searchers as well. If I wanted to see 'pay to rank' results, there's plenty of pay engines like ebay or shopping.com

I prefer to buy off smaller shops, as the service is usually better. Pay-to-rank seems to be pushing those types away.
