I am confused, I had thought that a new law had passed that would require all ecommerce sellers who do over $500K in sales per year to start collecting sales tax on out of state purchases. Some places online I read that the law has not been finalized, others say it will go into effect in 2013. Can someone clarify for me when this will take effect and when I will need to start withholding sales tax for all consumers?
