stoneedge has worked great for us, especially in terms of order verification with barcode scanners, integration with endicia, ups, exporting to quickbooks, handling purchase orders, inventory management. etc...

but they've been acquired by another company and their updates are lacking lately. I've been looking around for another solution, and not sure if there are any that are comparable.

I like the idea of integrating it with the shopping cart backend, but proper integration seems like it would require a lot of work up front.
