I don't think Amazon Webstore can handle downloadable products.

We use Amazon Webstore + Fulfillment by Amazon + Selling on Amazon in the US and are just starting with Selling on Amazon + Fulfillment by Amazon in Europe.

We've been selling on Amazon for years now and started using their fulfillment about 18 months ago. This year, we more or less migrated completely over to their platforms. I don't even have a warehouse anymore.

We are the only vendor for our specific products, so competing directly with Amazon on price isn't a concern.

Being able to run my business wherever there is a computer and Internet connection + not having to have a physical facility at all + not having to deal with PCI requirements + easy access to European market is super compelling for us.
