---- Fraud Prevention when opening to a large number of countries

We're going to be launching another US based e-commerce store in the near future, and this particular store is for a sport which is much more popular internationally than here in the states (though the sport is growing).

For our current online stores, I would say only about 10% of our customers are international and the countries that we ship to are limited. If an international order crosses our system I typically run a manual fraud check and either approve or deny them from our merchant account.

I was curious, are there any e-commerce players on the forum who do a good deal of international business? And if so, when you open up to 100+ countries how do you keep fraud to a minimum? I know in Authorize.net for example you can run various fraud filters (we do that) but this doesn't catch the sneaky fraudsters.
