eBay seems to be on an SEO trip lately, trying to dominate natural search by revamping their own properties and launching various "portals" for more targeted niches. This is in line with their ambitions of late.

I miss when eBay did only auctions and did them well, there are already far superior non-auction portals in the biz.

I'm going to assume they plan to purge their affiliate program of sites/affiliates who they continually end up competing with too.

Is it me or is eBay becoming more European than American? The aff program is run by a Denmark firm...
