Even if you give tracking numbers to the customer, they will expect you to phone FEDEX or UPS to track the parcel, or to hold their hand for every little shipping glitch, until their parcel arrives. The smaller the order, the more the customer will complain if anything goes wrong.
Your customer parcel will arrive at his/her door, 5 minutes after they phone for a tracking request.
