It's odd. My September and October sales were a bit lower than 2008, but that's because the elections drove sales in my niche to unprecedented levels.

What's odd is that November was down about the same--75% or so of last year--until Thanksgiving. Now sales are far below last year.

I just changed the design of my site, which might account for fewer people looking at the online store. What I don't understand is why the new design would affect the site adversely, as everyone I've "polled" thinks the new design is much better.

This is only my second year in ecommerce, so I guess I have to learn to live with the unexpected.
