#1, that's what we use it for. However, rather than plugging up subscribers' pages with 40 different links, we'll just put up a page that has all of the new stuff on it and link to that. Also useful for passing along coupon codes and industry news/updates.

#2. Yes, you can remove things. Although I am a mite concerned that you think you have so many disgruntled customers out there. If your service is good, this shouldn't be much of an issue...
