I don't have internet wide paypal -vs- g-checkout stats re: conversion/sales rates... and as far as I know nobody else has either. I use both, plus I use 2checkout. I also had my own merchant account through my bank until they got redneck with me and I lost it.

My philosophy is the more options I give my customers to pay - the better off I am.

I can give you my own stats but they'll be worthless to you. Appx 40% of my sales go through paypal, 40% through 2checkout, and 20% through G-checkout. G-checkout ranks last. I even get the oddball who wants to mail me a check every now and then. Which I'll take. These numbers aren't going to mean anything to you though. The demographics of your buyers is probably/likely different than mine.

The OP asked for specific statistics comparing G-checkout to Paypal. I don't have those. As far as I know, no one else does either.

Don't worry, you'll (hopefully) learn some day if you start a real business.

You're right fargo.. I need a real business. Something to keep me challanged. This 5K a month affiliate marketing thing I've had going for the last 11 years has gotten old. I'm probably pretty much unemployable right now. I'm not current on anything and I've gotten lazy. Too much Bud lite and spinner baits on the lake....
