I used one of those ebay tools which makes adding products to ebay semi-automatic. I still had to enter the products one by one, but I didn't have to go through this time consuming process that your one-off seller has to endure.

You mention unique products... do keep in mind that people will only find your store/products if they search for them... and they search mainly for well known products. So branded items is ok and so is any commonly sold goods. What won't work is fairly unusual items and even worse is unusual items that isn't branded.
